Special issue 2028: Las organizaciones del siglo XXI
In 2028, a special issue will be published focusing on organizational psychology in dialogue with other disciplines, titled "Technology, Transformation, and Uncertainty: Challenges for People, Work, and Organizations."
The rapid convergence of artificial intelligence, automation, new forms of employment, and economic uncertainty is transforming the world of work and organizations and affecting citizens. This has brought about unprecedented challenges for people management, workplace well-being, leadership, innovation, and sustainability. Psychology is therefore called upon to renew its conceptual and methodological frameworks in order to understand how individuals, teams, and organizations respond to an increasingly complex, dynamic, and uncertain environment and to contribute to the development of more humane, sustainable, and socially responsible organizations.
The special issue will be co-edited by Dr. José M. Peiró of the University of Valencia and Dr. Maria Constanza Aguilar Bustamante and will welcome empirical studies, reviews, and methodological developments addressing:
1. The interaction between AI and human work
2. Psychological safety and well-being at work
3. The competencies of the future
4. telework and hybrid work
5. Talent management and leadership
6. Diversity and regulatory transformation in organizations.
