Abstract
The aim of this paper was to have a adaptation of cognitifs schems model (Guimelli and Rouquette, 1992) and to employ it, joining with others indicators –frequency and importance-, in orden to identify the central node of social representations of Democracy, at a sample of tree university programs students (n=402). Results show that a) Democracy was a more central theme for low a middle classe individuals, b) by programs, there is’nt differences in conectors indicators, but in semantic production, c) there were words wit low frequency and importance attribution but with high conectors associated number, and d) differences between social classes were founded in four of six types of connectors. Results are discuted in light of theorical statements on social representation structure and methodology for to identify it.
