Abstract

The present idea is the necessity to have appropriate definitions of domestic maltreatment or family violence in order to get the complex process because of the legal, medical, social and psychological implications. First, it appears an approach about the maltreatment con­cept with the purpose to establish differential diagnostic with other types of violence as well as set other types of familiar maltreatment that today get less attention for the re­search. Finally, exemplify the proposal about the newly-weds, its epidemiology and impli­cations.
